Raw Dog Food

At Road 39 Ranch Farm, we won't try to answer that question. Animal nutritionists, university extension offices, dog breeders, large dog food manufacturing companies and dog owners will all gladly give opinions and are more qualified to weigh in on the debate. We simply offer to you the same  raw food we provide our dogs.

We offer simple raw dog food. We offer plain beef and beef with selected vegetables. Our beef is food grade beef, from our grass fed cattle.  Vegetables we add to grinder/mixer are food grade as well.

Dog nutrition is a complicated science. Dog taste is not something we claim to understand either. We feed our dogs a combination of feed. The base is a good quality dry feed. That balanced feed is what we use to ensure nutrition. We then add raw food to it. Sometimes a little sometimes alot. They absolutely love it.

We had dogs that were not eating well. We tried changing foods, tried mixing in canned food. Then we tried raw meat trimmings from the processing operation. They loved it. We have working dogs, pets; big dogs and little dogs. They all loved the food. We made some and gave it friends and family and the results were the same. Happy dogs, clean bowls.

There is a huge amount of information on line about dog nutrition. You can find detailed studies, personal opinions, scientific analysis and marketing pitches. We won't give you any of that here. We have found what works for us and have shared it with friends and family. Now we are offering to share it with you.

You can try it too. Order dog food on line with your regular meat order. It comes frozen and wrapped or vacuum sealed in 1 lb packages. The safe handling instructions tell you how to thaw it. Then feed to your own plan. No preservatives, seasoning, artificial colors, or artiificial flavors.
