Road 39 Ranch
Located in the Mancos River Valley in the four corners area of Colorado 1500 acres of ranch and farm land at 7000 ft produces hay, cattle, and processed beef. As a producer and a processor we manage the full life cycle of our farm and livestock we raise.
Simple Recipe
Good land, well cared for, produces good feed and a good life for the livestock raised on it. In turn, calm animals harvested without feed lots, hormones, unneeded antibiotics, and shipping, provide nutritious and tasty meat.
Small
With a small USDA inspected processing facility on farm, we provide attention to detail in processing our own livestock and animals for other local farms and ranches. Buying our meat or bringing us your animals for processing you know you are dealing with people that understand the effort that goes into producing quality meat.
About Us
Road 39 Ranch
We are a working Hay and Cattle farm in Mancos, Colorado. Privately owned we operate on 1500 acres. Our cattle graze in our pastures. We operate a closed herd, meaning our cattle live their entire life on the farm. They are born here, and we select the best breed stock as replacements. We select our beef animals for processing from our herd annually. We feed only grass and harvest them throughout the year. Since we process our beef on the farm in a USDA inspected facility our animals avoid the stress of transport and feed lots. We use no hormones and no commercial feed rations. Good cattle, good feed, low stress and open spaces produce good beef.
